Khumbu Black Tea

My favorite of Nepali Tea Traders black teas

You won’t find another black tea quite like this one. Certainly other tea growing regions have different flavors. Malty teas are not easy to find. The big rolled leaves can be used more than once, I’ve found. I have a hot pot in the morning and pour in a little more water for a cold cup in the afternoon. Love it.

Not what I was expecting, but good.

I was looking for the black tea that they use in milk tea in the Khumbu region where I went trekking. This was much more mild and didn't make a great milk tea, but is good on its own for what it is.

My favorite tea

I have been ordering this particular tea from Nepali Tea Traders for years. I have it on the weekend as a special treat. It is the best tea I have found anywhere. Full of flavor and color. Takes me right back to the tea shop off New Road.
