A solid cast iron piece which was perfect for the other cast iron Furniture on the door. 4/5 only because there is a very tight tolerance in the cast iron hinges, so you have to be very careful aligning the hinges in a way that sits with the main flap or the flap won’t close properly. To simplify fitting, I would recommend two people, One holding the hinges in situ, while the other opens the flap to mark the hinge placement. Of course with cast iron, you are always dealing with slight variances and overall the product is good quality, just requiring a great deal of care when marking the hinge locations on your door.

Thanks to Kate's helpful advice, I was able to choose all the correct pieces for our new front door. Prompt delivery and the usual high quality items. Great little company to deal with.

Excellent sturdy letter plate.

Nice and heavy letter plate so it keeps the draught out as well as road noise. Seems like a really good quality item.
