The mandrel makes changing the grits and pads a half turn... I have been using it for about 4 months now and have had no issues with it or the pads, Great product!!!!!

This is a well made, well priced, sturdy tool for sanding with multiple grits. The roloc sanding disks quickly attach to roloc mandrel eliminating the need to constantly change out sanding disk pads. Huge time saver and less wear and tear on the velcro pads.
