Sweet bag.
Bomber construction, good protection. Not too difficult to pack bike. As others have noted, it would be nice to not have to remove the rear derailleur, but it's not that big a deal. For the price, definitely worth it to have your own ride with you. I haven't seen other bike bags that I would choose over the Dakine bag.

Dakine Soft Case Bike Bag
Had the bag shipped to a friends in the PNW and returned with my bike using the Dakine bike bag and everything went super well. Pivot XL Trail 429 and bag @ 47.5 pounds, did not remove rotors, Had no issues whatsoever when I built the bike back up on the east coast, with two layovers and plane changes (Phoenix & Charlotte) before arriving in NE.

First impressions
Haven’t used it yet but first impressions are that this is a quality product. More features than many competitors soft sided bike bags and at a better price point.
