The leash seems true to its description and does not tangle which feels especially important when you're going for a late takeoff and quickly turn your board from a sitting position. Also, after bailing on a big overhead that really stretched the leash, it still seems strong. I can't tell if it was permanently stretched or not, but seems fine. Ankle strap is also very comfortable.

Next level leash

The new Kaimana Team leash is on its own level. Best quality, new design elements really make a difference. That leash string though... Not quite sure what's going on there. Been using my old strings as this is too long, too short, or a cumbersome connection. Would love to see Dakine explain proper use.

Solid

Comfy and I used it in pretty solid surf with a larger board where I was skeptical but everything held solid never felt questionable. Looks cool. Excited to try my thinner one as well.
