In order to get the look that I wanted I had to order more cans of Black Walnut Finish Coat. If you want the dark color like the picture, it requires extra coats. I also used a door kit to paint my wood rails going up my stairs. I painted both a metal door and wood kitchen pantry. It brings a touch of extra class to my kitchen.
