Fantastic and warm!!

Well made and looks great, however I wouldn’t call this a “coat”. That implies a level of warmth outside which is really misleading. I know that this is based on old designs and has some history behind it, but by today’s standards this isn’t a jacket or coat bi have a similar shawl collar sweater from a competitor and their sweater had much more tightly knitted wool which helps block the wind more, is thicker for more warmth and has a thick flannel liner which also helps retain heat and block the wind. I can wear that outside comfortably with just a tee shirt into the low 40s. With this and a breeze, I’m chilly in the low 60s/high 50s. Great for wearing around inside, or from your car to the office door, but not much else. Makes it a tough value prop as a “coat” or “jacket”, but as a beautiful sweater it’s worth it. I’d just call it a shawl collar sweater and drop coat from the name to set the appropriate expectation.
