Black Marilyn Gown in Black

I ordered this for a semi formal event that I would be lightly hosting. I took a chance and ordered this gown. I was pleasantly surprised to feel the weight of it and how beautifully made it is. It fit me perfectly right out of the package. I felt beautiful, confident and glamorous. I received nothing but glowing compliments all evening long. If 17-year-old me could see me in this gown, she would be delightfully impressed

Beautiful velvet dress, very soft and thick. I bought an extra large, which fits pretty well, if a bit long (I'm 5'1", measurements 40-35-43). only problem is the same as I saw in a couple other reviews - the zipper seems to get stuck about halfway up, so I had to zip it past that part and then pull it on. The zipper goes all the way to the neck line with a hook at the top to keep it closed.
