Lexus GX460 Air Compressor Mount

Works great!

Happy I found this. The only issue is the instructions. There aren’t any. There’s a video you can watch that’s not very good. This isn’t my first rodeo so I was able to figure this out but if I were new to this I’d have been pretty confused. Overall the product itself is great and very solid.

Great mounting plate

I've got a 2019 GX460 Luxury with the Adaptive Variable Suspension. This means there is an electric actuator assembly on top of the front shocks. After cleaning the three threads above the strut tower, I learned there was no way I could route the cap screws up into the engine compartment. No problem, just ran the screws down from on top. The plate mounted easy enough after that. Plenty of room to mount relays and accessories. I plan to use the mount for a power distribution system for dual batteries, multiple radios, and an auxiliary charging system, not a mount for a compressor. I'm very impressed with the fast shipping and the careful packing. When I buy from Rago, I know I don't have to worry about things getting busted during shipment.

A few wishes but overall solid fit

It fits perfectly on the vehicle. However I wish it was painted/powder coated black. It would also be nice to have a hard rubber pad between the mounting surfaces to maybe help with vibration when in use but thats just a nice to have. Also better hardware for the GX is needed. The washers are fairly small for the application. The instructions arent overly clear on what to use where and you kinda just kludge it together. I think with a little more time on this product and there would be no reason to go anywhere else. I
