The Akari 1AR is a variation of the Akari 1A, one of Isamu Noguchi’s first designs for Akari light sculptures. It features red screenprinted mulberry bark washi paper and tight, evenly-spaced bamboo ribbing, with a rounded form set on three metal legs.
