Not my first
This wasn’t my first MudBuster purchase over the past eight years, and it may not be my last. MudBuster parts are quality. I had fender flares on my 2017 Wildcat Trail, and earlier this year I bought the mud guards for my 2019 Talon. This last purchase was the Talon X rear flares and the Talon R Standard flares for the front, as another customer stated he had done for his Talon X. I was skeptical and concerned at first, but I feel like this was the best decision for my needs and I think they look great. You can probably get flares for less or spend more on n fender flares in other places, but for me, MudBusters are my go to choice.

Talon X fender extensions
The kit was easy to install, but after the install I noticed that the front 'mudflap' part was somewhat angled forward and didn't look quite right. It also looked like it was vulnerable to damage if/when dropping a wheel over an obstacle- we ride a lot of rocky trails... I used a heat gun to soften and then bend the 'flap' rearward to hopefully cause it to bend rearward instead of ripping it off on a straight down impact... I haven't had the machine out on the trails yet, but did drive it through standing water (mud puddles) in a field and found that the kit is pretty effective at keeping stuff out of the cab, although there was still some spatter on the doors, but much less, and lower than without the kit. All in all, seems like it was worth the money, but need to get it on the trails for the real test, and do a follow up review, and hopefully 5 stars..
