I was able to attach a micro pc to a standard dell monitor with visa support. I ran into one issue, where I couldn't push the two ends together, because the stand was in the way; this is more intended to be used with a real vesa arm, where there's more empty space behind the vesa connection. But it still works! I slid the mount bracket further down on the vesa connection, and it fits, hanging on there with the top two holes.
