poor tuner compatibility

The replacement tuner for my Scout fretless bass was for the correct side of the headstock. However, the central hole, into which the end of the string is inserted to ensure a proper connection for tightening, was way too small to accommodate the diameter of the A string. In the end, my only option was to tie a knot in the end of the string - not great!

I had a tuner peg broke on my Kala U Bass so ordered a a replacement from Kala and it had arrived quickly and was easily replaced just in time for a scheduled gig 🤙🏾 thanks Kala!
