Urban bass gig bag

This is more than just a gig bag. It is an excellent piece of kit. If it lasts as long as my other Fusion bass bag (17 years?) I'll be very pleased.

Almost perfect

The bag is really well made and comfortable on your back when carrying it around to gigs in the city. The 3 front pockets should be bigger or just one single big pocket. I'm often worried that I'm going to rip a zip when fitting multi-effetcs pedal, cables, ipad, ipad clip in my bag.

Well, I love the double bass case so I thought I'd start gathering my collection of cases for all my bases. Starting with a single bass case. Maybe I have a touch of OCD, but I'll be happy when my basses look like they all actually belong together as one family in matching Fusion Cases. The single case is just as cool as the double case. In fact, I had the opportunity to give it a proper test the other day. It started on Monday when I had a rehearsal. We were able to leave all our gear set up on the stage as we were rehearsing on Thursday as well (And no-one else would be in the venue). I took my bass home to practice... however, halfway home I realised that I needed my gear for a rehearsal with another band on the Tuesday... Ooops. Not to worry, Tuesdays rehearsal was in a dedicated rehearsal studio space that has all the gear set up. Tuesday arrived, and I loaded my gig bag with a strap, 2 small pedals (normally used at home), a 4 socket extension cable, my paperwork, pen, 4 cables and 2 power packs for the pedals and my spare moulded ear plugs. It all fit VERY easily into the many pockets on the bass case. I have a lot of love for these bass cases and prefer them over the many cases I've tried during my years of playing.... and I've had some nice ones!! My only regret is not having discovered Fusion Bass cases sooner.
