Vespers Decaf - Dark Roast Decaffeinated Coffee

A great tasting decaf coffee

I very much enjoy Vespers decaf. It has a great flavor, which is sometimes hard to achieve when it's a decaf coffee.

I shared this coffee with my mother-in-law and she loves it. She asked me to order some for her. This is high praise as she has very discerning tastes and because I'm not her favorite son-in-law and she doesn't ususally approve of anything I suggest. ;-)

Vespers Decaf

I tried the Vespers decaf coffee for the first time and was a bit perplexed. After brewing the first pot and getting my first cup of this coffee, I found the coffee had a bacon flavor to it. That is the best way I can describe the flavor. After the pot settled for a while, it seemed as though the bacon flavor disappeared. It was a good cup of coffee and I do like bacon but I was surprised at the taste which did clear up after a while. I will purchase again to see if this was a one off batch or a constant taste with this blend.
