1st time buyer, took a chance

Was looking for a very nice flight jacket. I was skeptical about spending this much money on a jacket. But WOW. I'm glad a took a chance, glad to be apart of the Cockpit USA family now!

Outstanding vintage repro.

My second 100 missions jacket separated by several years sizes 38 and 40. One fits like a glove with a T shirt, the other will take a thin sweater or button down shirt-snug but not uncomfortable. Only a collector could tell the obscure differences between this design and the original 1940’s G1/M442s. They are authentic in every respect. Snug military fit. Both jackets appear aged but are new and will continue to age and form around your shape over time. The leather grain, color and mouton collars differ but all of it in keeping with a jacket as individual as its wearer. Beautiful Jackets and I’m constantly stopped and asked if thy belonged to my retired USN Aircrew dad (RIP). Size 38-5 years old is below the size 40 just received.

Gorgeous Flight Jacket

Amazingly well made. Fit is very close so you should decide whether you want to wear with just a shirt or layer it. I would suggest just a shirt and so choose your suit size and add 2, ie. 42 suit size then get a 44 for nice trim fit. Bear in mind, you can carry a little extra weight but a giant belly will not work with this one!
