I love this shape, and find it so inspiring. Personally used gesso and acryla gouache.

I've converted to wood panels!

I donated my canvases and switched to wood panels because of these. They are super high quality and to my pleasant surprise all of the wood panels like this came ready to hang. That's a big plus for me! It took the primer, gesso, plus the soft acrylic paint like a champ. Truly high quality and archival panels.
