Lovely soft smooth velvet

Beautiful soft smooth velvet, although a heavier weight with the backing, this makes it more stable. Im going to use it for dressmaking, at first just cuffs and collar for jacket, but now im thing it would be lovely as a dress fabric. The samples I requested first, were sent promptly, as was the fabric. Will look at buying more at a later date.

I purchased this velvet material about 3 years ago and used it to upholster a sofa, which was my first experience of this kind. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to work with, even without experience. Over time, the material has proven to be extremely durable. I have two small children (2 and 4 years old), and the sofa is used intensively every day. However, both the upholstery and the cushions made of the same material have been preserved very well and still look excellent. I will order more to upholster my mother's sofa I am very satisfied twith the quality and durability and I highly recommend this product.
