1968-1972 Chevelle Direct Fit® Radiator - Pro Series

I installed this in a 1968 Chevelle with a SBC. This radiator is larger than the five previous ones I've put in over the last 3 years. With some cutting and grinding I got it supported well. Had to move the battery tray 3/4" outward. This radiator is meant for a BBC and I figured that out before purchase. DeWitt's rep told me they have to build it a month later which was fine. So, I asked him to put a 1.5" (SBC) outlet on it instead of the 1.75" outlet. Got the product a month later and it came with a 1.75" outlet. Could not find any formed lower radiator hose to fit. It was a struggle to find a flexible hose to fit. Finally found one. So, from the beginning of April until now (beginning of July) the radiator works well. Temperatures in mid to upper 170's and no leaks. Three of my past purchases failed at the cross tube to tank within six months. The forth went sixteen months before it failed. All part of the 'China Crisis.' By my calculations based on price, this should last at least 3.5 years. I'll see...

The radiator fit perfect. The cooling fans work great. I wanted a drop in option for my Chevelle and this was it. I loved that it was made in the U.S.A.
