My first Bésame-related compliment was the funnest, and so far my favorite. A woman I run into every couple of months saw me and INSISTED I had gotten new glasses and she loved them! She was so insistent I finally just agreed and took the compliment. But... I haven't had new glasses in more than two years. What I did have that day were brand new bright red lips, which I guess sets off my eyes really well. :) The color is a little bit pinker on me than I expected—I actually double-checked to make sure it was Red Velvet. It does darken up a little bit with a third coat. I appreciate having the application instructions (even at my age!), since the double-slanted tip is a little different to use.

I love this lipstick so much! Everything about it is perfection. From the glamorous vintage look of the case to the way the lipstick glides on….the rich pigmented color and buttery soft feel are gane changers. Im a fan for life now!
