The gead of these are smaller, and get into the tite spaces better, especially when cleaning around the printhead.

Right size for the job

These are the right size for the job to clean the head cap and they are lint free, but they do tend to split at the seam if you rub too much. I find that it takes several to finish the job. Overall, still a good tool.
