Ordered this unit to be able to upgrade the Spektrum AR631 receiver that was in my Eflite T28 1.1 BNF plane. In order to get the additional GPS telemetry data from the new Spektrum SkyID Module, you need to upgrade the receiver firmware. This item worked perfectly for this and also allowed me to customize the receiver Flight Modes and now everything works perfectly. GPS telemetry, speed, altitude, heading, etc. are all available from my BNF plane on my Radiomaster TX16S (which was also purchased from HeliDirect).
