Improvement Needed

If you're looking to use these to keep water out for medical reasons, don't. The way that these plugs fit into the case is backwards, with the stems inwards through holes in the case, meaning you can't avoid touching the part that inserts into your ear, and it also leaves the case open to dirt and bacteria. As far as fit goes, the stems have no rigidity at all, meaning they offer no assistance in inserting the plugs as they just collapse under any pressure. This means using excessive force to get them in. The overly soft construction means that they don't like to stay in either, and the molded outer piece offers no help with the issue either. The inner and outer portions don't match in size either, with the inner piece being a somewhat large plug, and the outer molding being fairly small, which doesn't make sense. The only improvement with these plugs is that the outer molding does somewhat help keep water out (would probably do more if they were a proper fit). All of the above mixed with any kind of irritation in your ear makes them very difficult to use and not very effective.
