Shipley Tie Loafer

I probably have ten pairs of loafers. Great loafers!

I recently purchased a pair of caramel Shipley loafers. I had a question about sizing so I called and spoke directly with Justin, the owner, and he quickly pointed me towards the right size. Justin also emailed me after receiving my order and asked if I would let him know what I thought about the loafers after I received them. He definitely puts tremendous effort into his product as well as his customer service. My Jay Butler loafers are now my favorite shoes by a long shot. They are extremely comfortable, very sleek, and fit my narrow foot unlike any other shoe in my closet.

My only complaint is this style (and a lot of other styles) are not offered in EE width. I purchased a 1/2 size up as suggested and they fit; however, they are taking a lot longer than the EE width loafers to break in (EEs fit perfect out of the box and broke in in a matter of minutes). That said, these loafers are great shoes and fit better than most loafers/dress shoes for those us cursed with wide feet (as ski boot fitters call it, "a sixth toe").
