If you use batteries you need to have one of these testers so you can clean out that draw with all the batteries that you don't know are good or not. It is so simple to use that just about anyone can do it. Was very happy I bought it.

I switched to Lithium batteries last season and had great luck extending the usage of my Trail Cams; however, I learned a valuable lesson early in my scouting season this summer. Before heading out, I checked each camera for Memory Card space, Battery capacity and functionality of photos/video's. I acquired a new property to hunt, spent 2 full days scouting and placed 3 cameras on well used trails. Do to work, I was not able to return and retrieve memory cards for a month. Much to my disappointment the camera I was most excited to check for videos was completely dead. After finishing some prep work for a stand, I returned to my truck, loaded the card in the computer and found ZERO photos?? Having seen battery capacity @ 100% when I tested them inside the camera originally, I was shocked. I returned to the camera with my new battery tester and found the batteries were all reading 20%. As can happen, my batteries had indicated 100% but had I tested them properly, I would've found out how weak they were. Now I use the ZTS to test even new batteries before using them. It's been put to use for many other batteries around my house. Buy one now!!
