Fat Daddio's Round Cake Pans — All Sizes

These are very good pans. The rolled edge at the top makes it easier to get in and out of the oven. The sides are perfectly straight. The metal is nice and thick so no scorched edges on delicate cakes. So much so that alternative baking suggestions are given on the pan sticker. I used the temperature adjustment for a scratch cake recipe. It did take quite a bit longer to bake and I feel like the edges did dry out a bit in the process of waiting for the center to cook. I believe this happened because the batter was very thick and not the pan at all. I will try again with a different batter as well as just using the regular temp given in the recipe. Point being, you may want to just experiment with the baking temp, but these pans are absolutely top notch. I will edit the written portion of my review if I can remember just in case the info may be helpful to others. In closing, the metal is so nice. I can already tell that kits not going to discolor or warp in the least. (No dishwashers!) As I expand my stick of cake pan sizes, I will definitely be purchasing Fat Daddios.
