Leather Watch Box Large

Markings

I purchased a watch box recently for my partners 30th and was quite disappointed when it arrived as there was marks and lines and the lid over the engraving - but nowhere else on the box. I did email to ask about this and because it is personalised there is nothing they are willing to do about it. I would understand if there was similar marks else where on the box - it’s just a shame it’s only on the lid over his name.
