I have used both the Light Brown Henna Hair Dye and the Natural Red Hair Dye - mixed together in quantities I've perfected with trial and error.This has worked well for me for many years.

Used over Deep Red

I've been using the Deep Red henna for many months now, and I'm feeling ready to transition back to my natural light brown hair color. I know henna doesn't go lighter, only darker, but my main focus right now is at my roots. I tested the color on hair from my brush and didn't see *too* much difference, so I went for it. Glad I did! My scalp always likes a henna treatment, too. I can tell there is more of a brown hue coming through the red, not much, but I definitely see it at my roots. My roots were closer to orange, but are now a striking match to the brown shown on the package image. Beautiful! I'm going to allow some grow out and do another application of the light brown, focusing on my roots. In my image, the left is before and right is 2 days after application.
