DIY 13-Gauge Aluminum Flag Pole for House (20/25/30FT Options)

I purchased the 30' pole. After getting it up, I decided a shorter pole would look better. I removed one section to make it 25' and it looks great. My neighbors have all complimented the pole. I have two 3'x5' flags on the pole and it handles them good.

Overall very happy with my purchase. It’s lightweight and sturdy enough. Very easy to take down. However, I’d much rather buy my own accessories and get the pole at a lower price. The flag that comes with it is much too small for a 30 ft pole. The flag clips are cheap and would rust very easily. The plastic cleat hook broke after about the 3rd time I used it. The plastic pole sleeve was already cracked when I received it. (It’s identical to a scheduled 40 2 inch PVC pipe). Again, the pole can be beat and is a great design. Just plan on purchasing some aluminum and brass accessories to make it much more durable.

Great flagpole great price !

First off I love the flag pole. It looks great in the front yard. However I do wish i would have went with the 20ft pole instead as this was way too tall for the wind we have. I did take off 2 sections and installed the pole with no more issuses and it looks great. It was worth the price and the free shipping was a plus also.
