Forget grocery store chicken breasts

I have been purchasing chicken from TNVGF for several years. Recently, I realized I had used my last frozen cutlet. I was having my niece for dinner and she had requested a certain chicken dish. I purchased the only “organic, cage free” chicken option at the store and prepared as usual. On the first bite, I realized the difference and so did my niece. The store purchased chicken, even though I had brined it, was tough. Needless to say, I will not make that mistake again.
