Beets for tops

Have put some of these seeds in the greenhouse for their tops--so far so good! I prefer beet tops over beet roots as it really adds interest and flavour to fresh green salads and is easy to prepare. I use beet roots more in the fall when the root veggies are ready

Best beets in my estimation. Perfect more uniform size for pickling. Taste is great.

Cylindra Beets

This is my 3rd year now buying this variety from McKenzie Seeds! This variety is super easy to grow - my soil is not the most nutrient dense and these beets do amazingly. I’ve not had any issues with pests as of yet! Plus they taste great!
