50” Gun Case Review

Appears to be a very durable gun case. All leather to canvas attachment points appear to be well stitched with no imperfections I can see. The brass hardware on the leather provides a nice accent but more importantly should serve as along lasting attachment points. Purchased this after hunting season so it has not seen any field use as of yet. I ordered the 50” case for my RFM 20 gauge SxS with 30” barrels. It fits quite snug in the case and takes up nearly the entire length of the case. The one concern I do have is with the case closed there are open gaps (3”)on each side which could allow dirt and debris inside the case when transporting in the field. Although the interior wool like lining is thick and may provide somewhat of a barrier to the elements. My gun typically goes in a sled and dragged thru ag fields and pasture alike so time will tell if the proves to be an issue or not. I gave 4 stars because of this concern.

Have wanted a fleece...

Have wanted a fleece lined gun sleeve for some time. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent. I look forward to using this for many years and then my son gets it and then his boys will get it.
