best skirts ever
I have a collection of these skirts from 20 years ago I think and have worn them almost out. I treated myself to a new comfy skirt and am so happy to have it as a staple part of my wardrobe again.

Nice fabric, nice cut, great waistband
The fabric is substantial without being too heavy, and I like the slubby texture. I have the Fern and Espresso colors -- pretty, and the most practical of colors since they go with almost every top I have. I've washed them and they held up well. The waist band is softly stretchy and not bulky (that is, no thick band of sewn-through elastic in a channel) and the center pocket, with a blind zipper, is wide enough to stash greenbacks. I got the XL and the XXL, and I'm not sorry they're different sizes. For around town, the smaller one, around the house, the larger. If I were to lose weight, I don't think it would be too hard to take in the larger one. I'm happy with my new skirts.

15 years and counting!
I’ve been wearing confit skirts in different lengths for 15 years and they are still my staple skirt. It took me a few years to realize I was laundering them incorrectly as they would stretch out after 6 months of use in the beginning, now that cold wash on gentle and hang dry in the shade they last more like a year or two.
I do dearly miss some of the old colors, and find the recent color pallets to be a bit too vibrant and pastel for my taste. Even the Fern color once I received it was a bit too electric green for me. I currently own smoke, espresso, and grape and dearly miss merlot, olive (olive had a different name I just can’t remember it was so long ago), and indigo. I mention this as I would buy 2+ skirts every year or two instead of 1 every 2 years if there were more warm pallet choices. That’s how much I love this skirt! :)
