Galaxy Multi-Purpose Utility Lamp

Nice, lightweight, and bright! I bought this for a woodturning light, but wound up using it for dovetailing, drilling, and saw sharpening! The magnet holds well and the light is bright! Being a plug in I don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. Worth the money and I would buy it, again!!

"New" Galaxy - a bright solution for task light

The recently upgraded Galaxy lights, with a higher number of LEDs (33), are definitely an improvement over the previous version of this model. I have two new Galaxy lamps, one mounted over each CBN wheel on the grinder. The magnet holds quite well, even on the curved surface of the grinder housing, the on-off rocker switch is convenient, and the 8" flex shaft allows for optimal lamp head positioning. The improved brightness and 6000 degree Kelvin color temperature provides excellent viewing for task lighting with good color rendition. These lamps would work equally well on a band saw, scroll saw, or drill press where bright task light is needed for closely viewed operations. Great quality for a great price - highly recommended!

Great light!

Im very happy with this light. Saw It used by a wood worker on YouTube and very happy he recommended it. Has a strong magnetic base and plug in cord so i dont have to fiddle with batteries. The head moves around to any position and stays where you put it. I have it on my bandsaw where I desperately needed light. I will buy more for other tools now.
