Very nice to have as when it did get colder it was nice to have a warm bottom, but seamed it pooled sweat to a puddle at center.

Purchased this pad with my hammock to use during winter backpacking in central Florida. Yes, it gets cold in central Florida with several days at or below freezing this past winter. In the spring and fall it works as a great windbreak on the bottom of the hammock. Installs between the 2 layers of bottom easily with shock cord and hooks. It also helps position you in the proper diagonal lay. Quality product that while bulky, makes a “tube” when refolded and coiled in your pack with other gear filling the tube space. Looking forward to this coming winter.

Took this out into the Mogollon Rim of Arizona. High of 50 with lows in the 30s. Kept me much warmer, I've camped in 50 degree weather without any insulation below and it made for some chilly nights. This works well!
