Magnetic Door Retainer

Too good?

I returned this device because the magnets seemed to be much too strong. I didn’t want to chance pulling the screws out of the side of my trailer or out of the door. The retainer was beautifully made and very fairly priced. I wish I could have used it. Can you make one with less powerful magnets?

The Real Deal

This magnetic door retainer is absolutely worth seeking out. It holds our trailer hatches open without fail. No more banged heads and fingers. Attractive, reliable, looks like it should have been installed as original equipment.

Works ok

Before installing, magnets attach strongly. Once installed, magnets don’t seem to “stick” as strong.
