I bought this to try my hand at simple rustic furniture making. I just finished two of the Adirondack chairs and they turned out great. It took some getting used to and I had to find a way to clamp the logs to my workbench. I finally found a way that worked and once I got used to the power of the drill things went pretty smoothly. I found that "sharpening" the logs down to just over the tenon size helps immensely. I liked them enough that I just ordered the "Pro" style for the tapered look and sprang for the log clamp too. I haven't used it yet, but I put it together and it seems like it will definitely be easier than the bar clamps I used before. I'm looking forward to my next project.

I took the tools out of the box and tried each one of them. I was impressed with how easy they are to work with. I am excited to build some log furniture with them.
