I have experimented with various putter grips and sizes on and off over the last 15 years. The Iomic I-Classic Standard is my favorite by far. I prefer a thinner grip with a smooth feel that is not too sticky. Putter grips are obviously a subjective experience. If one works well then you stick with it. I just regripped a new putter with the Iomic because I couldn’t get used to the thickness and feel of the SuperStroke after a few months of trying. The Iomic regrip instantly changed the feel for the better. As I said, it’s a subjective thing and what works for you is best. I just find the thinner and firmer feel of the Iomic I- Classic Standard to be the best. It’s also plain looking without all the colors or designs: another huge preference. I can’t imagine ever trying to change again.
