3/4" Bowl Gouge

Tried others this one is the best

I'm not a professional Turner but I really do notice the quality difference in this tool. The steel seems to hold an edge very long and has never cracked on me unlike other top end American manufacturers. Also I do like the parabolic and the v-shape profile of their flute

It's more than a bowl gouge. It's a Beast!

Let me start by saying the 3/4 bowl gouge I ordered took forever to get here. It was worth the wait. I do a fair amount of turning and make my own blanks so time and efficiency are important to me. This bowl gouge does the job really well. The quality of the product is the equal or better to all the products coming out of England and Ireland. I normally have to resharpen the gouges that I purchase when first delivered. I did not have to do that with the Carter gouge. It was just right when received and I used it immediately with good result. I am beyond pleased with the product and highly recommend same. Dennis

Beautiful American craftsmanship

I just recently started purchasing Carter and Sons tools and from the first tool I received I was very impressed. I was in the metal business for over forty years. The machining and workmanship on Carter and Sons tools is outstanding! I’m also very happy and proud to support an American business that’s family owned and operated.
