Excellent gouge

I use the 3/4” bowl gouge for most of my roughing out. The grind is perfect for removing lots of material fast. As always, it’s another top quality tool from Carter and Son.

Tried others this one is the best

I'm not a professional Turner but I really do notice the quality difference in this tool. The steel seems to hold an edge very long and has never cracked on me unlike other top end American manufacturers. Also I do like the parabolic and the v-shape profile of their flute
