This is the second pair of carbon fiber fins I own. I bought the medium-hard ones, and I have used them twice so far. I do a lot of surface swimming to reach the desired area of fishing, so it is important to get there without getting tired. The propulsion is really great without much effort. Where I see the biggest difference is coming up from depths, very responsive fins. Highly recommended.
