Great for their purpose. Iced over hard packed snow they work great. If you are on smooth glared ice get the spikes

Replacement soles

These soles were purchased to replace a similar pair that have eventually shown signs of wear after considerable use. The Aluminium bar design is a great compromise. Good on rocks but, unlike studs, will not damage a boat.
