Base T-Shirt Bra - Brown

New size, new me

Bought this bra after a Wirecutter review, then bought a second color on sale. Between two pregnancies and nursing and just generally not paying attention, I hadn't bought new non-maternity bras in years and years. I completed the size quiz and found out that I'm a 32B, not 34A. What a revelation! It looks and fits great, the underwire does not dig into my body or ride up, and I feel like it's finally the right fit. I guess I had always assumed that bras just wouldn't really fit me right because I am pretty flat-chested, but turns out I just hadn't found the right one.

Odd fit and slightly inconsistent bands

I like the inclusive range of nude tones offered by HW, but it is a shame that they seem to be discontinuing the tan and brown shades. I got the 32dd and the band fit fine but the cups were gaping in an odd way. I exchanged for a 32d, and the band is a bit bigger and looser. The bands for dd and ddd cup sizes is thicker, which is phenomenal. However, it doesn’t seem to be that the band sizes are consistent across the d and dd cup sizes. The band of the 32d is too loose, and it is a shame that HW does not offer a smaller band size.

Love it!

I love my brown bra. its comfortable, and i can easily and comfortable wear it all day. what i especially love about the brown bra (unlike some of the other colours) is that the little connector between the cup and the bra straps i circular, which means there are never any awkward positions there as is the case with the colours that use a more rectangular connector. all in all, this is my go-to bra on most days! for ref: i'm 5 foot tall, 155lbs, 36DDD
