I like the book

I was looking for a book that would tell me what all was involved with getting this cert. I’m only half way through but it is informative.

I don't even have my pup yet and have already read this book. I will be using this book from the minute that I get her. The book is easy to read and understand, Has pictures to help you understand. I like the fact that it tells you that they come into the world ready to learn. It is important that you know your dog and are willing to learn how to raise the dog being kind and becoming the alpha. There is no need to be mean or harsh. This book provides you with all the tools to get you started.

Excellent Puppy All-In-One Training Book

Found AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy book to be informative and easy read. Many extremely helpful dog topics from Veterinary advice to dog ownership responsibilities & also several great Training Techniques inside. I don't crate my dogs so the part concerning everything to do with crate training I haven't wasted my time reading.
