Before I bought this Yamaha 23, I watched the former owner struggle to raise the main. It didn't concern me because I had the same problem on my previous boat, a Splendour 27. Solution? Call the good people at Yuukou Marine and schedule an appointment to measure up the mast for a Strong Track. In due time, the track is installed and the problem solved.
