Thanks to this book, The Weight is Over, I've started looking at food and diet in a very different way- which food is the best food for this body temple? Which food is the most nourishing for body and mind, for energy and purpose? And, it doesn't mean I can't make that celebration festival with family and friends! It just means that I nourish myself first, and focus on what exactly we are celebrating - which generally means people, love, life. What I am most thankful for is Dr. Stacia Pierce's enthusiasm and focus in her writing to encourage the reader to reach for the stars. Intend for your best life, know that a Higher Power is part of that, and move forward one step every day. She did this herself! Then wrote the book to help others accomplish the same results. It's a generous gesture!
