Great Cowboy Boots

These are nice looking boots. My first try at making boots at all. The pieces go together easily. The only bit I found I needed to practice was the embroidery - I had to have several goes to get two that really matched. Still it was all good practice. I ran a black permanent marker around the top edges to disguise the white bonding fabric and I made them a tad more pointy. My next pair are going to be made from a piece of bubblegum pink leather I’ve been hoarding for years.

Great pattern and instructions

I was very happy with the pattern. This was my first attempt at making shoes of any kind for the 18” AG doll ( though I have purchased a few patterns). The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I have the same pattern for the Wellie Wisher doll and plan to make those next.

Surprisingly easy to make

Made for a friend. She was totally impressed. They are fun once you get over being intimidated by how cute they are. I've made them twice.
