Live in iowa and these work great. Mom house, in laws house and ours. Keeps us from falling on the ramp and walk ways. Awsome product fadt delivery.

I set up the mat on our deck, i did buy the remote so i was able to turn it on by way of my phone, it did work like a charm, melted all the snow in that area and a little around the edges. Just need to be careful because when it got cold around the edges turned to ice. Good product, I feel it is over price though.
