2015-18 Porsche Macan Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket

It works. Only just. The clearances for mounting it are very tight. The rod that threads into the bumper tow hook recess needs to be 1/2” longer. The license plate holder and associated hardware that attaches it to the threaded bumper rod has extremely close clearances to the bumper. I used anti-chafe tape in a couple areas to prevent rubbing on the bumper from wind and vibration. For $80 I was expecting it to fit better.

I would give it a 5 Star rating but I am dragging my feet to actually finish putting it on. The order process was straight forward and simple with the kit arriving within about 4 business days. During the initial installation I realized I had the wrong tow hook insert length and called the company from the job. The gentleman that answered asked me a couple questions and stated new tow hook insert is on the way. They sent me a shipping label for the old one and I received the new piece the day I dropped off the old one at USPS. Very Happy with the service and product.
