Beautiful hanging birdbath, but not attracting birds

We think the product is beautiful, but feel discouraged that birds look at it from a distance and choose not to use it. We’ve been speculating: larger birds (jays) may figure its hanging rods are too narrow for their wings; medium to smaller birds may not like the depth or fear the clay bird on the edge of it. Then the birds use a lower glass birdbath on our deck.

Perfect hanging bird bath

Love the quality and beauty of this smaller, hanging bird bath. A great addition to my peace of mind and world view! Can't seem to attract birds to it but remain hopeful.

Looks good hanging next to my bird feeder. Birds love it.
