I have to admit to have become a “candle snob”. After almost a decade of purchasing and using candles, you go thru a process of “educating “your nose, learn what you dislike in a candle (for me artificial and parfum-ey scents ), and learn to appreciate complex scents. Today, I do tend to stick with luxury French brands and rarely try anything else anymore, simply because I have been disappointed too many times….that is until I was gifted this Aerangis candle. The scent is so well crafted and balanced. It is not a “one note” candle, but a complex one. It is indeed designed to take you on a journey vs reproducing a specific single scent such as vanilla or pumpkin for example. This particular one is warm and a little spicy. comforting and intimate to my nose. If you enjoyed Trudon’s Hupo and Fornasetti’s Otto, you will LOVE The Ranch! The candle burns perfectly, and the hot throw is just right!
